📋 1. Introduction
These terms govern the use of the LexiNova web application (the "service"), operated by Miloš Lipničan, an individual, Slovakia, contact lipnicanmilos@gmail.com ("operator", "we").
By registering or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
🎯 2. Description of the service
LexiNova is a vocabulary-learning application that lets you create categories and words, test yourself and track progress. It includes optional AI-assisted content generation.
We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue the service at any time, particularly for technical or operational reasons.
👤 3. Registration and account
- Most features require registration (email and password, or Google sign-in).
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide and for keeping your password secure.
- An account is for a single person. You may not share or transfer it without our consent.
- You may delete your account and all data at any time in your profile settings.
✅ 4. Acceptable use
When using the service you agree not to:
- violate applicable laws or third-party rights,
- upload unlawful, offensive or harmful content,
- attempt unauthorised access to, disruption of, or overloading of the service,
- use automated tools (bots, scraping) beyond normal use.
We may restrict or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
📝 5. Your content
Words, categories and other content you create remain yours. You grant us only a limited right to store and process this content for the purpose of providing the service.
You are responsible for the content you add to the service.
🤖 6. AI features
AI word generation uses third parties (Groq, Google Gemini, Anthropic). See the Privacy Policy for details on data processing.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete — we recommend verifying it. We do not guarantee learning outcomes or the correctness of generated content.
💳 7. PLUS subscription and payments
- Plans: a free account (Standard) with limited quotas, or paid PLUS — Monthly €4.99 / Annual €39.99 (prices include VAT). No free trial is offered; the subscription is paid from the start. Full breakdown: Pricing.
- Billing cycle: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Payments: processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as the Merchant of Record (reseller), which issues the invoice and remits VAT; we do not store your card details.
- Price changes: we will notify you in advance; changes apply from the next billing period.
↩️ 8. Cancellation and withdrawal
- You can cancel your subscription at any time; PLUS access remains until the end of the paid period.
- As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting the digital service before that period ends, with your consent, this right expires.
- Refunds: the conditions and procedure are set out in a separate document, the Refund Policy. Send your request to lipnicanmilos@gmail.com; refunds are processed by Paddle as the reseller.
⚠️ 9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss or lost profits arising from the use of the service.
🔄 10. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes (e.g. by email or an in-app notice). Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
⚖️ 11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Disputes are resolved primarily by agreement; as a consumer you may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution body.
